Lancer Track & Field Summer Camp

Windsor StadiumThe purpose of this camp is to familiarize each participant with all the basic concepts of track & field in a FUN and exciting way. The instructors try to improve the level of fitness of each child and increase his/her knowledge of the different disciplines in track & field.

We will offer a completely "inclusive" approach to the sport, learning the basic fundamental skills in the sprints, hurdles, middle distance, long jump, triple jump and shot put.

The camp is designed to develop individual talents and interests, in addition to personal improvement and gaving FUN! We hope the participants of this year's camp will develop basic athletic skills, fitness and strength, which will enhance future involvement in track & field as well as many other sports.

The camp coaching staff is made up of University of Windsor Track & Field athletes who teach the skills at an age appropriate level.
