Catherine E. Hundleby is the Graduate Director, Associate Professor in Philosophy, Cross-Appointed with the Women's Studies Program and a Fellow of the Centre for Research in Reasoning, Argumentation and Rhetoric (CRRAR). She has a B.A. from the University of Toronto (1991), M.A. from the University of Guelph (1995), and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Western Ontario (2001).
Dr. Hundleby specializes in feminist philosophy, epistemology, and philosophy of science. Her latest work engages with informal logic and argumentation, and gave rise to a special issue of the journal Studies in Social Justice on "Just Reason" and a special issue of the journal Informal Logic on "Reasoning for Change."
She is working on a book about fallacies of argumentation that will engage both feminist epistemology and science studies, and maintains an on-line guide for philosophy instructors to choosing a critical thinking textbook.
