About the Office of Public Affairs & Communications

The Public Affairs & Communications office (PAC) functions as the newsroom for the University of Windsor, sharing the stories of its success with the world. Our role is to elevate the profile of the campus, to promote the brand and support the strategic plan in everything we do.

We publicize achievements from across campus to help our students, faculty and staff gain the recognition they deserve for their efforts in making the world a better place through education, scholarship and engagement.
 

Operating under the Office of the President, the department is responsible for:

  • Marketing and the UWindsor brand
  • Print publications including the University of Windsor alumni magazine View, the Annual Report, and pieces in support of student recruitment
  • Outreach to external media, including producing news releases and providing sources of informed comment, as well as helping internal clients devise communications strategies
  • Web site development and the content of the University's top pages, including the e-newsletter DailyNews
