Background:
Dr. Xiaolei Guo joined Odette School of Business and the Cross-Border Transportation Centre (now Cross-Border Institute) of University of Windsor in August 2010. Prior to that, he was a post-doctoral associate in the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.

Research Interests:
Dr. Xiaolei Guo's primary research interests are in the areas of road pricing, infrastructure planning, transportation network modeling, optimization of complex systems, and supply chain management.  His research contributes to the economic and policy fundamentals of the pricing, financing, privatization and regulation of transport infrastructure.  He is currently looking into using market-based instruments to improve commercial vehicle border-crossing efficiency, which is motivated by and built upon the unique features of just-in-time supply chain users mixed with regular users at Ontario border crossings.
