The Ontario Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (OASFAA) is an association comprised of both colleges and universities and is concerned with scholastic and need-based assistance programs available to students of its member institutions, and their effect upon the financial well being of students. OASFAA works closely with the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities in support of student financial assistance.
OASFAA encourages it's members to bring their comments, concerns and feedback forward through to the OASFAA Executive so that they can be addressed with the Student Financial Assistance Branch when appropriate. Members who have concerns should bring them forward to their regional representative who will then bring it forward to the Executive in order to determine if immediate action needs to be taken or if it's an issue which needs to be addressed by one of the Executive Committees, such as Policy, Procedures or Systems.
Meetings of the OASFAA Executive are held monthly on the 2nd last Thursday of every month with the exception of December and August. Meetings of the OASFAA Executive joint with the Student Financial Assistance Branch are held monthly on the last Thursday of every month, again with the exception of December and August.
