Areas of Research
Abstract harmonic analysis and Banach algebras.

Research Interests
A series of duality theories for non-abelian locally compact groups have been developed, which are no longer built within the category of groups. In particular, the dual relation between Fourier algebras and group algebras has inspired the development of quantum harmonic analysis. I am interested in Banach algebras associated with locally compact groups and quantum groups. I am also interested in general Banach algebras.
