Service Description
The University is moving toward simplifying passwords on its multiple systems. Faculty and staff need access to a number of systems, which may include Lotus Notes, Lotus Domino, Novell, arc1, SIS, Finance system, Dial-in, wireless, Spam Filter and VPN. That is a lot of passwords!
To reduce this number, the UWin Account system [1] has been developed to make passwords common on multiple systems. Currently your UWin ID has a common password for arc1, dial-up, wireless, Spam filtering, authenticated Web pages and Domino Web access. Separate passwords are required for other systems for either technical or security reasons.
The HelpDesk provides password support for all University of Windsor clients. It is the first point of contact for routine password requests and aims to provide the quickest possible resolution of all inquiries.
