Program Advising:

Do you have questions about changing programs?, dropping courses?, getting "F" in a course? these and many more questions can be answered by an Academic Advisor.  Please email to be referred.

S.T.E.P.S. (Skills to Enhance Personal Success)

This program provides sessions that introduce practical methods to help students improve learning and study skills across disciplines.

Topics range from effective note taking, to multiple choice test taking strategies, and practical time management skills.


Connecting4Success is a mentorship program that provides new students with personalized attention to support their successful transition to university.  Our mentors consist of supportive senior level students, professional staff and faculty members. 

The Campus Life Line program 

It will help students transition to university with "just-in-time" sessions addressing concerns and issues as they arise throughout the academic year.

Academic Integrity Office

The Academic Integrity Office is a resource for all members of the campus community with respect to any academic integrity-related issue.  We promote honesty through:

  • awareness campaigns
  • educational workshops for students
  • information sessions for faculty
  • one-on-one or small group meetings with students, faculty, and administration

Academic advocate 

This office is hosted by the UWSA to advise students on their rights and provide assistance.
