This position is the first point of contact for students, visitors and general inquiries.</p> <p><strong>SUMMARY OF DUTIES: </strong></p> <p>1. Applicants must have a clear understanding of Common Law, Jurisprudence, Powers of Arrest, Charter of Rights, power and limitations of search and seizure, Breach of Peace, the rights of the arrested persons, and the difference between civil and criminal offences. As well, the successful candidate will possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license with no more than six accumulated demerit points permitting them to drive an automobile in Ontario with full driving privileges.</p> <p>The successful candidate will have proven leadership skills including the ability to work well within a team environment along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to deal with crisis situation as well as the ability to maintain composure in stressful situations in order to implement corrective measures is critical. The successful candidate will be able to problem solve and think critically and possess sound computer knowledge.
