Knowledge of industry career options, trends and opportunities.</p> <p>&bull; Demonstrated history of being self-motivated and cultivating mutually beneficial relationships, including ability to develop and sustain relationships with individuals from a wide variety of social, ethnic, and economic backgrounds.</p> <p>&bull; Familiarity with human rights, labour legislation and current human resources practices, including federal and provincial privacy regulations, and knowledge of local and national labour markets.</p> <p>&bull; Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, oral and written communication, presentation, problem solving and organizational skills, superior client relationship management skills and work effectively with all levels at the university.</p> <p>&bull; Ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines under pressure.</p> <p>&bull; Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and the occasional weekend throughout the year to attend employer or related professional events at various locations on campus and in the community.</p> <p>&bull; Ability to work with minimal supervision, anticipate problems, forecast outcomes with tact, discretion, sensitivity to confidential matters.</p> <p>&bull; Valid driver&rsquo;s license and ability to travel within Ontario and other Canadian cities.</p> <p>&bull; Proficient in Microsoft Office.
