Humanities Research Group

The Humanities Research Group seeks to generate, enliven, and disseminate research, scholarship, and creative activity in the arts, human sciences, and related disciplines by both new and established scholars.


School of Medicine and Dentistry

The Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry has expanded its undergraduate medical program to the University of Windsor. The expansion began in 2002, and, as of September 2008, the complete undergraduate medical program is being offered in Windsor with the entry of 24 first-year students.


Faculty of Nursing

The Faculty of Nursing has 50 years of experience in successfully preparing registered nurses. Its program is accredited by the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing and it has collaborative partnerships with St. Clair College (Windsor/Chatham) and Lambton College (Sarnia).


Canada Research Chair in Social Justice and Sexual Health

This Canada Research Chair is a Tier 1 Chair funded by the federal government of Canada. It was established as one of the Research Chairs that supports the University of Windsor's focus on Social Justice Research. Dr. Eleanor Maticka-Tyndale holds this chair from January 2002.


Assumption Chair in Canadian and American Population Health

Dr. Kevin Gorey studies the interrelationships of health care, social welfare and education policies, and the associations of such policies with the health of diverse populations. So far his work has primarily involved North American, particularly Canadian and American, populations.
