Elections

GSS Executive, Unfilled Departmental and At Large Council Representatives

The GSS Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on Thursday, February 16, 2017.  At that meeting, the membership amended 3 Bylaw changes to the constitution governing GSS elections as well as to re-start the elections for the Executive, Unfilled Departmental and “At Large” (Aboriginal Students Liaison) Representative elections previously provided to the GSS membership.  This means that the dates for the “All Candidates Debate” and “online voting” as well.

Also, please note, that any nominee that has already submitted and received a confirmation from the CRO of their nomination form, you DO NOT have to re-submit your nomination form for the Executive elections, Unfilled Departmental and At Large (Aboriginal Students’ Liaison) Council Representatives positions.

The 2017/18 elections re-start were to begin on February 17, 2017, however, following the GSS AGM meeting on Thursday, February 16, 2017, the GSS received an email from the CRO that he was resigning immediately from that position and would not be available for the re-starting of the GSS 2017/18 elections and that is why no emails were sent out announcing the re-starting of the GSS Executive elections until the GSS can find another CRO.
