New graduate programs and initiatives
Windsor's graduate student enrolment has increased by 60% since 2000 and we are continuing to grow - currently we offer over 60 research-based and professional graduate programs, including the following recent program developments and joint initiatives:
- Master of Actuarial Science - approved in April'2013.
- Master of Medical Biotechnology - approved in December'2012
- PhD in Kinesiology - starting in September 2013
- Graduate Diploma in Advanced Practice Oncology/ Palliative Nursing - starting in September 2013
- MASc in Mechanical Engineering (Automotive) - joint agreement between UWindsor, Chrysler, Politecnico di Torino, and Fiat
- Interdisciplinary MA in Social Data Analysis
- Master of Social Work/Juris Doctor (JD/MSW) Joint Program
- PhD in Social Work
- Joint agreement M.A. in Political Science / Master of Public Policy at the University of Michigan at Dearborn
This program will give international students an opportunity to focus on actuarial studies for careers in insurance, pensions, and healthcare. More information will be available soon.
