Instructions for Presenters

Instructions for Oral Presentations:
-Oral presentations during the concurrent sessions must be 15 minutes in length with 5 minutes for introductions and questions (i.e., total time is 20 minutes).
-Presentations can be in PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat or Keynote for PC or Mac.
-Select a 16:9 widescreen slide format to get optimal visual performance on projectors being used at the conference. 
-If you must have video embedded in your presentation, be aware that PowerPoint requires the accompanying video file to be accessible at the time of presentation. You can contact the AV provider (Kyle Braithwaite KBraithwaite@PSAV.COM) to test a presentation with video prior to the conference
-Presentations can be loaded from USB onto a conference laptop onsite in the Leduc Room at the Westin Hotel.  Files must be loaded 24h prior to your scheduled presentation.  Instructions for downloading files will be provided in the Leduc Room.
 
Instructions for Poster Presentations:
-Each poster must fit onto a 122 cm (4 ft) high X 183 cm (6 ft) wide poster board.
-Posters will be held in the Manitoba room at the Westin Hotel. Follow directions in the Manitoba room as to which areas are for presenters and which are for vendors.
-Poster locations are on first come first serve basis.  There is not designated areas for different sessions. 
-Posters can be set-up starting Thursday evening January 4th.
-The formal poster session is Friday evening January 5th from 6pm – 9pm.
-Posters must be removed by Sunday noon January 7th.
