Canada-China Water Science Workshop

A Canada-China Water Science Workshop is being held at University of Windsor the week of Aug. 14, 2017, headed by Dr. Doug Haffner, Canada Research Chair in Great Lakes Environment Health at the Great Lakes Institute for Environmental Research (GLIER), and includes participants from Canada and China.

Canada and China face many similar issues with regards to water quality and environmental health, and China's ancient lakes may hold answers to many of the problems currently facing water bodies in both countries.
