Course Descriptions - Visual Arts


Minimum Admissions Average: 
Bachelor of Arts (Honours) or Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) in Visual Arts
Mean Admissions Average: 
  • ENG4U required.
  • Students may choose to double major in any BA Honours program.
  • For the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts: the mean admission average is 88%. 
  • A portfolio is not required for admission to our B.F.A. Visual Arts program. However, admission to Year 2 is based on successful evaluation.
Career Tracks: 
  • Practising artist in such areas as photography, cinematography, painting, drawing, printmaking and sculpture
  • Media arts
  • Arts administration
  • Project management
  • Education (with additional studies)
  • Graduate studies in studio or academic programs
