Social Work

  • Aims to improve the lives of individuals, families and communities in an increasingly complex society
  • Prepares students for professional registration in the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and elsewhere
  • Combines social work courses with courses in disability studies, psychology, sociology, women’s and gender studies and other disciplines
  • Includes professional concentration in Years 3 and 4, providing extensive field education in more than 50 social service agencies in Windsor and Essex County
