Political Science, Law and Politics Specialization

  • For students planning to pursue a career in law or who wish to learn more about the Canadian and international legal systems
  • Does not guarantee admission to law school or direct entry into the legal profession
  • A rigorous curriculum to foster such skillsets demanded by law schools as: analytical and problem-solving; critical reading and thinking; oral and written communication; organization; and knowledge of the law and social justice
  • Introduces the intersections between legal studies and political science, philosophy, history, labour studies, women’s and gender studies and sociology

Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science, Law and Politics Specialization
Mean Admissions Average: 
  • ENG4U required.
  • Students may choose to double major in any BA Honours program.
