Digital Journalism (Combined Honours)

  • The only program in Canada that unites journalism theory, ethics and skills education with academic specialization in Communication, Media and Film, English Language and Literature, English and Creative Writing or Political Science
  • Provides the academic foundation for critically assessing events
    and issues in context, combined with the skillset for today’s digital
    marketplace demands
  • Includes Collaborative Studio Labs in each of the four years involving hands-on, problem-solving workshops taught by faculty and media professionals
  • Provides the opportunity for third-year students to run their own
    digital newsroom
  • Provides opportunities in each of the four years for students to work for on-campus publications, freelance in local media and take part in internships
