Industrial & Manufacturing Systems Engineering (IMSE) Department
In 2008, Dr. Ahmed Azab obtained his Ph.D. and joined the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering (IMSE) . He has had academic experience as a Sessional Instructor, Assistant Professor as well as having industrial experience.
He is an elected research affiliate of the International Academy of Production Engineering (CIRP), a world leading organization in production engineering research based in Paris, France. For a co-authored paper (with Dr. Hoda ElMaraghy during his Ph.D. studies), presented in the CIRP General Assembly in Dresden, Germany, Dr. Azab was one of three finalists for the prestigious Taylor Medal; an annual CIRP award in recognition of young scientists of outstanding merits in the field, who demonstrate excellence in researching production engineering problems.
He is the recipient of the University of Windsor's Outstanding Graduate Research Award for excellence in research, scholarship and creative activity.
