Manager, Restricted Funds in the Department of Financial Accounting & Reporting

The Manager, Restricted Funds is responsible for the successful accounting, reporting and management of the restricted funds, and particularly the research grants, of the University of Windsor. The Manager will review and become conversant in the content of all external funding agreements including their budgets, spending restrictions, external acts or policies they are required to adhere to, and reporting guidelines. The incumbent will provide oversight and support to the research grant positions on campus reporting directly to researchers or Deans.

The Work-Integrated Learning Coordinator is one of a number of positions that work together as a team to effectively coordinate, maintain and/or develop Co-op Programs on campus. The incumbent will have specific accountability for one or more Co-op Programs and will be primarily responsible for working with students to prepare them for the job competition and placement period, monitor their progress on work-term and facilitate the process of student reflection of their experiences and resulting learning outcomes.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support to the Executive Director. The incumbent also provides assistance in support of the operations of the Office.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

1. Provides administrative support to the Director which includes scheduling appointments, handling phone calls, emails, composing/typing correspondence.



Reconciliation Accountant '7' in the Department of Financial Accounting and Reporting

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

The Reconciliation Accountant is responsible for the timely reconciliation of the University bank accounts to the General Ledger and for supporting the Senior Accountant in this regard. The Reconciliation Accountant also assists the Controller and the Senior Accountant in various accounting functions, analysis of general ledger accounts and preparation of working papers for the year-end audit.
