Part Time Lancer Recreation Assistant Intramural Coordinator in the Department of Athletics & Recreational Services (up to 24 hours / week) Temporary vacancy for approximately one year.

Reporting to the Director of Athletics & Recreational Services, the Lancer Recreation Assistant Coordinator assists in aspects of the delivery, planning, coordination and evaluation of the Lancer Recreation Intramural Program.


The successful candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology or related field

• Knowledge of majority of team sports for implementation of intramural leagues including rules, regulations, risk management, facility requirements, equipment needs, training of officials

• Experience in the oversight of staff and event coordination

• Experience in Intramural program development, marketing, promotion, oversight, revenue generation, cash handling, and budget coordination at a post-secondary level

• Valid and Current First Aid, CPR, and Emergency Action Planning training

• Computer Skills including Word processing, Excel database management, website development, Publisher desk top publishing, Photo Editor, Microsoft Outlook, experienced in Drupal web-based program & database management tools (e.g. Class, ActiveNet, Blackboard, EZ Facility, etc.)

• Additional skills include the ability to work independently, conflict management, time management, and customer service.
