Special Projects Coordinator to the Deans of Law Tentative Classification "VI" in the Faculty of Law

The Special Projects Coordinator to the Deans of Law will enhance project workflows for the Deans of Law and other members of the Faculty by analyzing problems or inefficiencies in the law school, as assigned by representing the interests and priorities of the Deans through effective communication and, coordination of activities related to special projects.


The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline such as Business or Communications, as determined by the Faculty

• Familiarity with University or post-secondary policies and processes

• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills

• Demonstrated commitment and success in working with and across diverse constituencies and populations

• Experience with the design, plan and execution of multiple complex projects simultaneously with attention to detail and high level of excellence

• Demonstrated tact, diplomacy, discretion and experience handling highly confidential information

• Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism

• Strong technical skills, including full proficiency with standard computer systems (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint), the Internet, Qualtrix, and web development software

• Strong organizational, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated ability to deliver presentations with the use of multimedia



• Familiar with issues impacting legal education

• Experience coordinating building and renovation projects

Rate of pay:
Tentative Classification "VI" per Schedule 'A' of the Collective Agreement
