Head Coach - Women's Soccer in the Department of Athletics & Recreational Services (Part Time up to 24 hours per week - 1 year renewable contract)

Reporting to the Associate Director of Athletics, the head coach is responsible for the coaching, development, recruitment and retention of athletes for the women’s soccer varsity program. The head coach will guide the program in a manner which is consistent with the values of the University of Windsor and will create an environment conducive to the development of student-athletes. The women’s soccer varsity team competes amongst 18 other universities in the Ontario University Athletics conference (OUA).


The successful candidate will possess:

• An undergraduate Bachelor degree or equivalent related experience to coaching

• Minimum Coaching Certification (NCCP) “Introduction to Competition” or “Train to Compete”. Provincial B License (complete or in progress) would be considered an asset 

• Minimum of three years coaching experience at an elite level with demonstrated leadership skills 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community

• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment and work well with supervisors, departmental colleagues, and other employees of the university


• Understanding of University of Windsor admissions processes and academic programming for recruiting purposes
