Executive Assistant to the Associate Vice-President, Enrolment Management in the Office of Enrolment Management

Reporting to the Associate Vice-President Enrolment Management (AVP-EM), the Executive Assistant provides administrative support by organizing and providing daily office support on matters related to marketing, recruitment (domestic & international), Internationalization, and Strategic Enrolment Management (SEM) at the University.


The successful candidate will possess:

• Undergraduate University Degree in a Business-related field

• At least three years of secretarial or administrative experience, which including knowledge of general office procedures and practices

• Demonstrated ability to draft, reports, presentations and correspondence

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Superior interpersonal skills, including tact, diplomacy, discretion and good judgment

• Demonstrated ability to oversee the work of others and set priorities

• Advanced knowledge of the University financial and reporting systems

• Extensive knowledge of the academic and administrative structures and procedures of the University in order to deal with numerous and diverse issues

• Strong working knowledge and experience using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner, or equivalent

• Excellent knowledge in various computer software such as MS 365 (i.e., Word, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint, Excel), computerized databases, and customer relationship management software

• External experience in industry, municipal, or community organizations

• Ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds


• A Masters in Business Administration or Master of Education

• Three to five years of experience in an educational setting or global corporation.
