Part Time Catering Lead Hand

Under the direction of the Catering Manager and Assistant catering manager the Catering Lead Hand is responsible for the setup, coordination, delivery and service of catering and conference meals to both campus and off campus groups. This position is also that of a Working Lead Hand and is responsible to perform all duties of a Catering Server/Bartender. This incumbent will be expected to work independent of supervision receiving direction from the Catering Manager and Assistant Catering Manager and is required to work closely with the kitchen management as well as the unionized kitchen staff, porters and Catering Office staff. 


• Smart Served certified

• Five years of experience in a full service banquet facility to include both Food and Bar services

• Two years of experience in a food service supervisory role

• Able to work flexible schedule including evenings, mornings, weekends and holidays

• Must have a valid driver’s license and provide a clean driver’s abstract

• Cash handling and inventory control experience


Rate of pay:
As per Schedule 'A' or 'B' of the Collective Agreement
