Bounce Back Program Coordinator Tentative Classification "V" in the Student Success and Leadership Centre

The Bounce Back Program Coordinator (BBPC) will oversee the coordination and delivery of Bounce Back, a strengths-based program that aims to support and retain students experiencing personal and academic difficulty. In consultation with the Director, Student Success and Leadership Centre and the Associate Vice-President, Student Experience, the BBPC achieves this by coordinating content development, program facilitation, student support, staff training, assessment, and reporting. 


The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Education, Counselling, Social Work, Psychology or other as determined by the department

• 3 years’ experience in a postsecondary student services or related setting with experience supporting students or clients in crisis.

• Thorough understanding of and experience applying trauma-informed practice in the context of sexual violence response and education

• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills

• Program development, administration and evaluation experience

• Experience overseeing and mentoring the work of others

• Practical knowledge of best mentoring and coaching strategies

• High level of cultural awareness and sensitivity

• Ability to liaise collaboratively and effectively, act with tact and diplomacy and maintain confidentiality

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work in a team environment, as well as to work with minimal supervision

• Excellent organizational skills

• Proficient with office computer software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Drupal and Social Media Platforms

• Flexible schedule

Rate of pay:
Tentative Classification ā€œVā€ per Schedule A of the collective agreement
