Graduate Degree Programs

Important Announcement for International Graduate Applicants

Please note that we normally receive a large number of applications from international applicants and only a very small portion of highly qualified candidates could be admitted. Our graduate program is thus extremely competitive. Satisfying the academic requirements does not automatically guarantee that you would be admitted but only provides the base for further consideration.

Before you submit the official application for admission into our MASc or PhD program, it is highly recommended that you contact a faculty member in your interested area(s) and communicate with him/her to discuss your academic credentials, background, past scholarly performance, research interests, as well as the availability of research assistantship support.

Support in the form of Graduate Assistantships is limited by the available university/department funding. The University Scholarships are very competitive and are only offered to extremely highly qualified applicants.
