The School of Computer Science has been participating in the 2nd Annual Nerd Olympics hosted by WEtech Alliance.  Our team, Nerds++ has so come in last place in the two previous events - which included  Archery and Disc  Golf.  The 3rd event - Trampoline events - will take place Monday October 2 - where we plan to jump ahead in the standings.  The 16 teams competing in the Olympics are comprised of the IT sector in Windsor and Essex County.  We are fortunate to have the only team with students.  To accumulate more points, Community Challenges are also available for anyone who wishes to assist.  Donate blood to help us earn points.  Canadian Blood Services will keep track.  The Welcome Centre Shelter is accepting donations on Mondays from 2:00-7:00 p.m. until November 13.  For further information about these community challenges, please contact Melissa at
