Dr. Abdelnasser Ouda

The School of Computer Science would like to give a warm welcome to Dr. Abdelnasser Ouda, Assistant Professor and one of three new faculty members hired for July 2017.  Dr. Ouda received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Western University and both his Master's and Bachelor's in Computer Science from Ain-Shams University, Cairo, Egypt.

In addition to his research interests in Distributed Systems and Management, Software Engineering, Information Systems and Big Data, and Security, he also finds time for running, swimming, playing drums and a challenging game of chess.  Dr. Ouda holds a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo and teaches as well.  During his quieter times, he enjoys reading and writing Arabic poetry.

Dr. Ouda will be teaching courses at each level in the Undergraduate program.  We look forward to his fresh ideas being incorporated into these classes.
