Master's Programs

The School of Computer Science is pleased to offer 2 different Master’s level programs. The MSc Thesis based program in Computer Science at the University of Windsor was established in 1989. Since that time, the program has grown to become a strong and useful component which contributes significantly to both research and training of high quality professionals.

The MAC (Master of Applied Computing) Course based program was established in 2014. Since that time, the program has become a strong a useful component which provides students with the training for a successful career in the growing software industry.

The number of applicants to both our Master’s level programs is at a level which permits the selection of excellent students possessing varied undergraduate backgrounds.

Although most students pursue their research programs and courses within Computer Science, opportunities exist for courses to be taken and interdisciplinary research to be conducted in collaboration with Faculty in other academic units, including Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial and Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration.
