MSc Thesis - How to Apply

Due to changes in the online application system, applications will NOT be accepted from NOVEMBER 18th - NOVEMBER 26th.

We are excited that you are considering the University of Windsor for your graduate education.  Please note the deadlines to apply are:

We are currently accepting applications for the FALL 2019 term, that is a September start.

Application Deadlines for the Fall term:        January 15th (International applicants)
                                                                March 15th   (Domestic applicants)

Application Deadlines for the Winter term:   July 15th (International applicants)
                                                               September 15th (Domestic applicants)

The following application deadlines will apply for students wishing to be considered for the Entrance Scholarship

In order for an application package to be considered complete for the MSc Thesis based program, the following documentation must be uploaded to the University of Windsor Electronic Graduate Application System -eGas

  • Completed on-line application form
  • 2 Confidential reports (reference letters)
  • CV
  • Original transcripts
  • Research Statement Form
  • English Proficiency results (if applicable)

*Please note, it is highly recommended that applicants indicate one or more potential supervisor(s) along with the intended area of interest on the Research Statement form

Late submission of application documents may delay the processing time, jeopardizing your ability to start the program on time. 

Please ensure that you allow adequate time for application processing (4-6 weeks) and for a study permit to be issued should you receive an Offer of Admission.

Step 1: Complete a Graduate Application Online form along with applicaiton fee
Step 2: Activate your myUWindsor ID
Step 3: Complete the online Application for the MSc Computer Science program on eGas. You will be required to upload all required documents in PDF format
