Copyright Transfer for Author(s)

In consideration of expenses of reviewing, editing, publishing, and distributing accepted manuscripts (including text, tables, and figures), author(s) will be asked to assign their copyright in and to the article to Critical Social Work. This means that the authors may not, without Critical Social Work’s prior written permission:

  • post the article on any website
  • translate or authorize a translation of the article
  • copy or otherwise reproduce the article, in any format, beyond what is permitted under Canadian copyright law, or authorize others to do so
  • copy or otherwise reproduce portions of the article, including tables and figures, beyond what is permitted under Canadian copyright law, or authorize others to do so

If you wish to do any of these things, please contact the Managing Editor at cswedit@uwindsor.ca. This allows us to track the use and distribution of your article. Critical Social Work encourages use for non-commercial, educational purposes, and will not unreasonably deny any such permission or request.
