IN HALIFAX

  • Founded and chaired the Metropolitan Immigrant Settlement Program, funded by the Government of Canada.
     
  • Served as a consultant to the Archdiocesan Religious Education Program.
 
     
  • Founded and directed the Halifax Archdiocesan Liturgical Music Camp.
 Chaired the Parish Council of St. Joseph’s Catholic Parish.
 
     
  • Chaired the Archdiocesan Liturgical Commission.
 Worked as a member of the Atlantic School of Theology curriculum revision committee.
 
     
  • Conducted pre-marriage sessions on communication.
 Served as a leader for Scouts Canada.
 
     
  • Directed a folk music choir at St. Joseph’s Parish.



IN WINDSOR

  • Served as a provincial appointee to the Board of Health for Windsor and Essex County.
 Elected chairman of the Board of Health for Windsor and Essex County.
 
     
  • Served on the School Council at Vincent Massey High School.
 Served on the School Council for the Center for the Creative Arts at Walkerville Secondary School.
 
     
  • Served as Chair of the Council of Teachers and Parents (API) for Ecole Abbe Lucien Beaudoin.
 Served as a leader for Scouts Canada.
 
     
  • Served as a member of the Parish Council for Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
 Conducted public input sessions for the City of Windsor.
 
     
  • Served as a member of the United Way Evaluation Committee.
 Served as a Debating coach for Vincent Massey Secondary School.
 
     
  • Served as a debating judge for local and provincial high-school debates.
 Re-vamped the Debating Guide for Ontario Schools.
 
     
  • Directed contemporary church choirs at Assumption University, Assumption Church, St. Gabriel, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Christ the King and Corpus Christi parishes.
 Served as a judge for the Youth Achievement Awards.
