Student Responsibilities

Throughout the Federal Student Aid process, Direct Loan applicants/recipients have several responsibilities. Before Direct Loan funds are released, it is a student's responsibility to:

              ♦ Disclose all sources (actual or anticipated) of financial aid

              ♦ Accept a Loan                

              ♦ Submit a Parent Plus Loan Release Form
                 (students receiving Parent PLUS loans only)

After Direct Loan funds are released, it is a student's responsibility to:

              ♦ Alert Student Awards & Financial Aid if you wish to cancel
                 all or part of a loan

              ♦ Complete Exit Counselling before you withdraw, graduate,
                 or drop below half-time attendance
